The Lo-Han Kuo fruit grows from vines from the melon family. The fruit is very sweet in nature and is use as a natural sweetener. For medicinal purposes it is use to moisten and cool the lungs, and to help dissipate phlegms. Many Chinese Opera singers routinely drink it as a tea. The taste is very sweet. These are quality medium size Lo-Han Kuo.

DIRECTION The fruit can be cook in a tea or soup with other herbs and/or meat. As a tea, crack open the fruit and put it in bowl of 6-8 cups of water. You may add more water depending on how sweet you would like it to be. Bring the water to a boil and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes. Once it cools down, it is ready to be serve. Drink 2-4 cups a day.
